EspessoMachine

Do not use the espresso machine if you don't know how. You could damage it, and will certainly make a mess. Ask someone who likes espresso to show you what to do.

Startup

• Check the water level. The machine does not have a water level interlock, so a low water level could cause overheating.

Operation

• Clean off any pieces of equipment before putting them on the top of the machine. This includes the tamper and filter.

Cleanup

1. Remove the filter, and dispose of the grounds.
2. Check that the filter did not separate from the handle and end up in the trash.
3. Rinse the filter in the sink.
4. Re-insert the filter into the machine and hit the "single shot" button. Have a cup underneath to catch the water. This helps rinse out the machine.
5. Rinse the filter in the sink and dry with a paper towel.
6. Clean the entire area
7. Leave the clean filter on top of the machine
8. Empty and rinse the tray if needed.
