Startup

• Check the water level. The machine does not have a water level interlock, so a low water level could cause overheating.

Operation

• Clean off any pieces of equipment before putting them on the top of the machine. This includes the tamper and filter.

Cleanup

• Remove the filter, and dispose of the grounds.
• Check that the filter did not separate from the handle and end up in the trash.
• Rinse the filter by re-inserting it into the machine and hitting the "single shot" button. Have a cup underneath to catch the water.
• Rinse the filter in the sink and dry with a paper towel.
• Clean the entire area
